THE INSTITUTE

Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana. The Institute was established in the year 1989 as Food Craft Institute and was started functioning from August 1989. It has been up-graded as Institute of Hotel Management since July 2009. The institute is located adjacent to famous Badkhal Lake Tourist Resort, and is easily accessible by rail and road. Institute has till date produced 2118 students as under:

They occupy various positions in Hotels / Restaurants / Airlines / State Tourisms in India and abroad.

National Award for Excellence in Hospitality Education: Institute has been awarded 1st Prize of National Award for Excellence in Hospitality Education for its meritorious performance for the year 2007-08 by the Ministry of Tourism and National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, on 25.03.2009.
